Dare to make it happen in 2024!

With the full support of the Région Sud and its President Renaud MUSELIER, in 2023 risingSUD met the challenges of attracting new projects and investments to the South of France while also supporting the development and energy transition of companies and territories across the beautiful Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

Thanks to its team of 50 employees and a network of 90 partners, risingSUD supported more than 450 companies. Among these companies, 40% have announced they have adopted measures to support the region’s climate plan.

These include Carbon Solar, which has chosen Fos-sur-Mer as the location for Europe's top giga-factory for solar panels, which will create 3000 direct jobs by 2027, and Inalve, which has raised €2 million to deploy its micro-algae technology in Nice.

The agency is also proud to have supported the Marseille Immunology Biocluster project, which was selected for a France 2030 innovation subsidy and will receive an endowment of €97 million to help it become a world-class ecosystem for the fight against cancer and autoimmune diseases. Furthermore, risingSUD welcomed 20 new regional companies to the sixth class of the SUD Accélérateur program to help them scale up and become the leading companies of the future!

This year, risingSUD also launched its own Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, taking part in the Provence-Corsica climate convention for businesses, meaning the agency will measure its carbon footprint for the first time and establish an ambitious action plan for environmental goals to be achieved by 2030.

In this way, risingSUD is helping to foster the emergence of new sustainable models and is contributing to making the South of France a land of excellence, innovation, and transition that is resolutely committed to the future.

Finally, there were almost 300 of you at the last annual general assembly for risingSUD... So we've decided to do it again!
