On Wednesday November 20, members of the Provence-Corsica CEC climate convention for companies gathered at Le Cloître in Marseille to celebrate the first anniversary of the culmination of this collective adventure that places businesses and organizations at the heart of environmental and social change.

At the initiative of the Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, the OIR program was set up in 2016 to support eight key strategic sectors. The initial results are promising: 194 projects supported, €777 million of investment secured, and 84 high-impact companies presented to the CoFI financing committee.

From October 14 to 17, risingSUD and the Region Sud led a regional economic delegation to Benin. The trade mission was organized in partnership with Business France with the support of the APIEx agency to promote investments and exports and the Benin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the participation of the Africalink network, the CRT regional tourism committee for Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Aix-Marseille-Provence.

As part of an initiative to study and enhance regional economies, a detailed report on the nuclear industry in the South of France has been published. This report, which looks at the challenges subcontractors in the nuclear sector face when attracting skilled workers and accessing market opportunities, is the result of a partnership between the Region Sud, the regional network of chambers of commerce and industry, the Capenergies cluster, and risingSUD.
